Bed Features
The Barry MBE2 has a four-section bed platform equipped with an electric drive for adjusting the backrest and leg sections.

Control
The bed is designed to meet the needs of bedridden patients, offering enhanced comfort through an intuitive wired remote control.
The remote features three pairs of control buttons, each clearly marked with icons for easy identification:

• The first row controls the backrest (head) section.
• The second row adjusts the leg (pelvic) section up and down.
• The bottom row allows simultaneous adjustment of both sections, raising or lowering the backrest and leg section together.

The remote control enables patients to independently set the most comfortable section angles and greatly simplifies care for caregivers and medical staff. The advanced mechanisms of the Barry MBE2 ensure smooth, balanced, and silent movement of the adjustable sections.

Construction
The sturdy bed frame is made of steel and supports a maximum load of 250 kg, allowing even larger patients to use the bed comfortably. The bed length, including headboard and footboard panels, is 216 cm, and the overall width is 96 cm—similar to a standard single home bed—making it easy to place in a home environment.
The bed itself weighs only 66 kg. Its relatively low weight and maneuverable castors allow easy movement in confined spaces, with individual brakes on each wheel to lock the bed securely in any position.
All metal components are coated with high-quality powder paint, providing long-term protection against corrosion and external influences, including frequent exposure to aggressive disinfectants.
The removable headboard and footboard panels are made of high-quality impact-resistant ABS plastic. The panels can be easily removed without tools, allowing medical staff to quickly perform all necessary procedures. The surface coating allows for fast and effective disinfection.
Aluminum side rails protect the patient from falls, fold easily, and can be removed if necessary for hygiene or other procedures.
